Our Mission

Welcome to The Greater Worthington Area Real  Estate Association's web site. The purpose of this organization shall be to promote better working relations between the real estate industry and the general public, and to promote the general welfare   of the Worthington Area.

From May 2011 -- The 2011 Scholarship winners were announced at a ceremony at each of the Worthington High Schools last week. We would like to congratulate the winners from Worthington Kilbourne, Darby McMullin and Lauren Rossi, and the winners from Thomas Worthington, Anna van der Zwaag and Chen Lin. Grade point, activities, letters of recommendation and special circumstances were considered by the scholarship committee but the essay portion was weighted heavily as well. This year GWAREA added the theme “Why Worthington is a Great Place to Live” to the essay. Some of the essays can be viewed here on the site and the others will be made available for members to use in their marketing. 2013 Events -

• For the 2013 REALTOR® Care Day project, the Greater Worthington Area Real Estate Association painted, washed windows, installed shelves and bulletin boards, installed light fixtures and industrial carpets and cleaned/sorted food as needed at the Worthington Food Pantry. Click here
